the genesis
It all started with a BBQ day—French friends, some from California, a few large glasses of rosé, and bam, ON THE CUSP was born !
It all began with a conversation about zodiac signs when a friend mentioned she was between Taurus and Gemini. Our Californian friend jokingly said, "Hey, so you are ON THE CUSP!" which means "on the edge," "on the verge of," or "somewhere in between," depending on the context.
That's when Olivier, one of the brains behind the story, exclaimed, "Cooool, pour me a glass of ON THE CUSP because, well... it’s neither white wine nor red wine, it’s rosé, baby!"
And just like that, from a simple joke, we came up with the idea of launching a new rosé wine brand with a full concept !
